As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited has recently started a 21 days long Tailoring Training for local community women on 15 May 2023 at Islampur School, Meghnaghat, Sonargaon, Narayanganj, Bangladesh which was inaugurated by Mr. Ranjan Lohar, Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Takahiro Kobayashi, Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Yasuhide Miwa, Construction Manager, Mr. Masashi Tsujimura, Deputy Construction Manager and other officials of the project were present at the occasion
The Project will be developed on the 35 acres land at the Meghnaghat Complex of BPDB provided to the Company on a long-term lease under the Land Lease Agreement. The power generated by the Project will be evacuated through the existing 400 kV network of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Company has secured all necessary approvals and permits and will be commencing construction of the Project shortly.
