JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited (the “Company”) is a 100% foreign-owned special purpose company incorporated in Bangladesh as per the Companies Act 1994, to Build Own and Operate 718 MW (net) gas fired combined cycle power plant at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj, Bangladesh (the “Project”). Through our operational excellence, use of state-of-the-art technologies and best international practices, we bring reliable and sustainable energy to help meet the growing energy needs of Bangladesh and to foster economic growth.The Company believes that any business conduct can be ethical only when it rests on the core values of Agility, Readiness for Challenge, Excellence and Fairness. The Company signed the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Land Lease Agreement (LLA) with Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), Implementation Agreement (IA) with Ministry of Power, Energy & Mineral Resources and Gas Supply Agreement (GSA) with Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution Company Limited (Titas), together called as the Project Agreements for setting up the Project.



The project is financed by financial institutions and reputed banks including Asian Development Bank, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, Mizuho Bank Ltd., Société Générale, MUFG Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.



The Company is having its registered office at Gulshan, Dhaka.
