Kenji Nakayama is Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited. He is Technical expert of Thermal Power Plant Development , Construction, Operation and Maintenance with over 31 years’ experience.
He is a member of Japan Society of Thermal and Nuclear Power Engineering. He has worked in technical leadership roles with development work, operation work, maintenance works and plant modification / rehabilitation project (Replacement of Gas turbine and Steam turbine including HRSG system) in Japan, China, India Indonesia, Azerbaijan, and Bangladesh in thermal power plant business.
The Project will be developed on the 35 acres land at the Meghnaghat Complex of BPDB provided to the Company on a long-term lease under the Land Lease Agreement. The power generated by the Project will be evacuated through the existing 400 kV network of Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB). The Company has secured all necessary approvals and permits and will be commencing construction of the Project shortly.
JERA Meghnaghat Power Limited (the “Company”) is a 100% foreign-owned company incorporated in Bangladesh for setting up a 718 MW (net) gas fired combined cycle power project at Meghnaghat, Narayanganj.
